Random Advice

This should be done:
1. Visiting the house of the dead, so that it will make you thankful for life.
2. Visiting places that preach the prosperity gospel, so that you will be overwhelmed in love for the true one and those that preach it no matter how much you disagree with the methods and the peripheral theology
3. Attending boring lectures, so that you resolve never to give one.

Advice to Christians: Love - Francis Schaeffer

"As we turn to consider in more detail how we may speak to people of the twentieth century, we must realise first of all that we cannot apply mechanical rules. We, of all people, should realise this, for as Christians we believe that personality really does exist and is important. We can lay down some general principles, but there can be no automatic application. If we are truly personal, as created by God, then each individual will differ from everyone else. Therefore each person must be dealt with as anindividual, not as a case or statistic or machine. If we could work withthese people, we cannot apply things we have learnt..." "...mechanically. Random advice - Rebellion

Rebellion is an inadvertent by-product of trying to reach a legitimate goal...  a means, that too one that is last resorted to...  it is NEVER itself the goal. It should never be the goal

To be a good quality mathematician, and a well respected one at that, you should learn to use the word 'arbitrary' quite arbitrarily. How frequently you use it determines how well you do at math.

Random Thought : Vessels of grace

We aren't sources of grace. We are vessels of grace. If we don't get it, we cant give it. So lets make sure we take a lot of it. 

Don't mind the filth

The gospel is like a golden magical ball in the hands of lepers and diseased. It is healing them but hasn't completely yet. So while they point at it, please don't mind the filthy fingers.

Advice for Athiests

To be a genuine, skilled and an effective atheist - an atheist at heart who truly believes what he says, (especially to be the kind that attacks Christianity or at the minimum, the kind that will have a slightly more lasting effect on me, a Christian) you should understand Christianity... so that when you fire your arrows at it you know you have aimed for the right target.

I don't have much of a problem with the fact that you attack Christianity (I am quite for it) but with that your arrows miss it completely and that you call whatever it hits Christianity. Then I have to go pick up the arrow and say, "Hey, you gotta aim correctly". Don't get me wrong. I think you are skilled. You just gotta know what you want to aim at.
